Analysis of fuel, rapid analysis of fuel. Fuel express analysis
Since 02 January, 2014 the Repair and Diagnostics Centre DRS provides field RAPID ANALYSIS OF FUEL by means of the special equipment «Hartridge FQM-20» serial number CG.84024.L (Fuel Quality monitor).
The equipment have passed the certification and calibration following the Standard ISO11171, and it is ready to perform the fuel analysis according the standard ISO 4406:1999, (the test is carried out according the standard ISO 4406:1999).
For the analysis the fuel can be taken «From Car Tank Filtration» and «On Board Filtration». According the Standard ISO 4406:1999 contamination level of fuel in the fuel tank must be not higher than 18/16/13, but after the fine filter - 12/9/5.
The table below shows the permissible quantity of fuel contamination recommended by the engine manufacturer CUMMINS.
Rapid analysis of fuel gives us possibility to specify the contamination level, presence of water, presence of small particles which is not visible by eye but which affects an engine's work and its operating life.
Leading causes for test analysis of fuel:
After analysis you can receive the print-out of results and, when necessary, the statement of fuel conformity for use in the fuel system, of which the analysis was performed.
